Hi, I'm Kimberley.

Strength coach. Runner of 15 years. Eight marathons in and still learning.

I know what it feels like to love running and have no idea what to do in a weights room. I've been that person. And I also know what changes when you finally bridge that gap — because I've lived it, and I've watched it transform every runner I work with.

This isn't just about lifting heavy.

Most people assume strength coaching for runners means barbells, heavy weights and sessions that leave you too sore to run the next day.

That's not what I do.

Yes, we lift. And yes, we build real, meaningful strength. But what actually keeps runners healthy, consistent and improving isn't just how much they can lift — it's how well their body moves.

I look at movement patterns. Imbalances. Tightness. The subtle things that don't show up until mile 18, or until that same niggle comes back for the third time.

Mobility is just as central to my coaching as strength — and that's what makes the difference between a runner who keeps breaking down and one who keeps showing up.

A more holistic approach — and why it matters for you

Alongside strength and conditioning, I've spent years deepening my own practice in Ashtanga yoga — and I'm currently completing my yoga teacher training. That's not a coincidence. It's because I genuinely believe that building a resilient, injury-free body means working with the whole person, not just the parts that hurt.

That philosophy runs through everything I do with clients. We build strength. We work on mobility. We look at how you move, recover and live — not just what you do in the hour we spend together.

This is long-term change. Not a quick fix. Not a generic plan. A real approach built around you and how your body actually works.

A bit about me

I've been running for 15 years and raced marathons across the UK and Europe — so when you talk to me about training, niggles and goals, I'm listening as someone who genuinely gets it from the inside.

Before coaching became my full-time career, I spent years working as a biomedical scientist in the NHS. The science of how the human body works isn't background reading for me — it's something I've lived professionally. I qualified as a PT in 2017 and coached alongside that career, building experience and results, until growth and client success made this my primary focus.

The results I'm most proud of aren't always the PBs — though there have been plenty. They're the moments a client deadlifts a weight they never thought possible, or walks into the gym and realises they're not scared anymore. That confidence is what lasts.

"She's clearly focused on improving you as an individual, not just running through a generic session"
